The ABC costing templates for Services Industries have a capacity for 240 resource accounts, 100 activities (which can be classified as Primary or Support), 250 cost objects, 38 drivers per module. Users can add attributes or tags according to the analysis needs.
We suggest setting up only one cost object “Dimension” in the Toolkit, examples: 1) Products or Services, 2) Customers, 3) Distribution Channels, 4) Branches 5) Sales Regions. This is because for a small model in Excel it is complicated to define drivers and assignments when there are several mixed dimensions.
For proper operation of the Toolkit, the Excel Costing Templates have locked cells and sheets that help preserve the structure of the file.
